Dukung Dreadout Supaya Lolos dari Steam Greenlight

Dreadout adalah salah satu game bergenre survival horror action yang kurang lebih seperti Fatal Frame (saya tidak pernah main) dari Playstation 2 tetapi buatan asli developer indie dari Indonesia dengan menggunakan Unity Engine. Dreadout ini sekarang sudah mencapai tahap audisi di steam greenlight, kita harus bersama-sama untuk men-vote supaya memasuki tahap greenlit. Tahap greenlit maksudnya tahap pre-release dan membuat kesepakatan dengan valve seperti menentukan harga, cara mendistribusi lewat steam store (store.steampowered.com), dan cara mendistribusi metode cd-key (retailer). Rekan-rekan bisa meng-vote melalui link ini dan harus mempunyai steam account sebagai syarat utama. Menurut info yang saya dapat dari developer, game ini difokuskan untuk windows terlebih dahulu setelah rilis baru diedarkan untuk Macintosh & linux.

When a group of high school student astray from their vacation trip, they discover an old deserted town. Soon they realized that something sinister is about to happen when they entered the town. Linda as the main protagonist, soon realized that something different / mystical is happening to her. She suddenly have a spiritual power that maybe can save her and their friends from the unknown.

The main character will use her modern gadget such as; Smartphone, Digital camera, and Digital Video Camera to interact with the various kind of East Asian Mythical Ghost that you never seen before and also to help her solve the puzzles of the deserted town.

Steam greenlight adalah wadah yang paling cocok untuk developer indie dalam mendapatkan kepercayaan dari konsumen dalam meraih feedback terhadap software/game yang dikembangkan supaya mendapat vote yang banyak agar mudah masuk ke pasar untuk dijual agar lebih bernilai dan meraih keuntungan banyak. Modal yang dibutuhkan adalah $100 sebagai syarat utama untuk memasukkan software/game ke steam greenlight. Selain itu, steam greenlight mempunyai fitur project concept lewat link ini disitu kita bisa mensubmit konsep proyek game/software kita sebelum memasukkan ke greenlight dan tanpa berbayar sedikitpun. Keuntungan yang didapatkan adalah mendapat feedback dari steam user lainnya supaya hasil pengembangan proyek kita tidak asal-asal & memudahkan mendapat vote yang banyak kalau kita memasukkan ke steam greenlight.
